Nigerian troops yesterday August 5th arrested one Mai Mustapha alleged to be the fuel supplier to Boko Haram terrorists in Jehu village near Jakana in Borno state. Also arrested was a man identified as Madu who helps in purchasing food items for the terrorist. During the troops operations in villages near Dikwa, piles of street lamps poles cut into pieces by Boko Haram terrorists which they use in making Improvised Explosives Devices was discovered. NAFDAC discovers Factory with expired canned food in Lagos The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), on Thursday said it had uncovered an illegal factory within the Trade Fair Complex in Lagos loaded with various expired canned food. The agency’s Spokesman, Mr Anslem Okonkwor, said disclosed this in a statement that the discovery was sequel to a special raid and enforcement operation in some markets in the metropolis by officers of the Investigation and Enforcement Directorate of the agency. A 25-year-old mom allegedly murdered her own father and her daughter, hid their remains in a neighbor's shed, then made up a story about them running off to Georgia. Cheyanne Jessie killed her 50-year-old father Mark Weekly and her 6-year-old daughter Meredith, then waited more than a week before reporting them missing, detectives say. The pair's remains were found in plastic boxes on a neighbor's property in Lakeland, Florida, late Saturday night, some 200 yards from Weekly's home. A leopard that injured five villagers in a savage attack in India has been beaten to death with sticks and burned. Forest authorities said that the shocking incident took place in the Kalgaon area, in the Sivasagar district of the northeastern Assam state, as the villagers were collecting firewood. The Nigeria military has captured Boko Haram Commander and rescued 178 captivities in Bama axis, Borno State. The development was sequel to the ongoing operations to clear Boko Haram terrorists in its area of operations, the troops of 21 Brigade in conjunction with elements of 151 Task Force Battalion of 7 Division, Nigerian Army have conducted offensive operations along Aulari in Bama axis. The troops successfully cleared terrorists’ camp in Fadan, Shuwarin, Wulari, Ngoro Dauye, Jidori, Alikashiri, Kalzamari-Shuwa and Kalzamari-Kanuri amongst others. During the offensive operations, 178 people held captives by the terrorists were rescued. They include 101 children, 67 women and 10 men. Also, three Boko Haram flags were recovered while five motor cycles were burnt by the troops. In addition, one Boko Haram commander was captured alive and is presently undergoing investigation.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in a combined effort with the Nigerian Army has successfully repelled Boko Haram terrorist group (BHT) attacks on Bita village, Borno State. In a statement signed on Sunday by Air Commodre Dele Alonge, the Director of Public Relations and Information (DOPRI), NAF used its Alpha jet to provide combat air support to the ground force to repel the terrorists who were observed to be mobilising to carry out a deadly attack on the village. “Consequently, a large number of the insurgents were killed and several others were injured" he revealed. "Thereafter, the NAF A-Jet conducted an armed reconnaissance along Bita-Gwoza road and through Yamtege, Hamdaga, Dure and Pulka.The NAF will continue to give all necessary support to the ground force through its intensified and persistent efforts in the ongoing fight against Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East until all portions of Nigerian soil is safe and free from the insurgents,”

This happened this afternoon in the city of Port Harcourt. Gunmen suspected to be hired assassins chased the man in this vehicle to Sobaz filling station at Obi Wali Rd, Rumuigbo in Port Harcourt and shot him dead point blank in his car. The car is still there with the man inside as it happened about 20 minutes before writing this post...in case anyone recognizes the car. More photos after the cut...
