A thief stole a laptop during the funeral service of six-year-old TJ Martin at Pentecostal City Church in Kesal Green on November 2. The laptop contains precious photos of the young boy who died tragically and has caused huge upset for the entire family. The computer was left unattended as guests and family members traveled to Kensal Rise for the burial. When they got back they found the laptop had been stolen. According to the police, CCTV footage from the church shows a man taking the computer from its case after spending about 15 minutes in the church... An 8-year-old boy is being charged with beating a 1-year-old girl to death while they were left home alone as their mothers went to a nightclub, Alabama police said Tuesday. Birmingham police spokesman Sean Edwards said the boy beat and killed 1-year-old Kelci Lewis when she wouldn't stop crying. The mother of the toddler, 26-year-old Katerra Lewis, also is charged with manslaughter for her role in the death of her daughter. "This is by far one of the saddest cases that I have witnessed and been a part of since I became a police officer," Edwards said. A man is accused of shooting , dismembering and then burning a love rival after he allegedly discovered he was seeing one of his girlfriends. Richard Darling allegedly snapped when he found out about the man was sexually involved with his partner, police said. Officers in Colorado have now revealed in gruesome detail how they believe Darling carried out the alleged murder . Shortly after 10.30pm on Halloween night in Aurora, police found a 55 gallon drum burning with human remains inside, local news station reported. The body is believed to be that of Rey Pesina, a man Darling allegedly shot after several days of arguing over one of the suspect's two girlfriends. Witnesses told investigators Darling shot Pesina with a .22 calibre rifle, dismembered his body "severing the head from the torso", and burning the remains in a barrel. A man and woman found in a Philadelphia park fatally shot in an SUV were having s.ex in the back seat and their killer sought the couple out, police said. Homicide Capt. James Clark said Monday that Shakoor Arline, 25, and Lisa Smith, 32, were together in the SUV early Friday when someone opened the rear door and fired nine times, shooting both multiple times in the head. Maintenance workers found their bodies around 2 p.m. Friday near Lemon Hill Mansion, a historic building in the city's Fairmount Park. Clark said the shootings happened between midnight and 5 a.m. Arline and Smith met at work at a previous job and had been seeing each other on and off for several years, Clark said. Both were also in relationships with other people. 46 year-old pastor, Ifeanyi Bernard, has been arrested by the Nasarawa State Police command on Monday for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in Karu Local Government Area of the state. According to police authorities, the alleged rape took place on November 3 when the pastor was performing deliverance on the girl. However, the pastor described the incident as the handiwork of the devil. While parading the suspect at the Criminal Investigative Department, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sani Mohammed, said the suspect was arrested following a report by the victim's father, Mr. Martins Ijiwo. The Lagos State Police Command has urged residents of the state not to report traffic robberies and other crimes first on social media but to the nearest police station as that will help the police forestall further occurrence. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Joseph Offor, made the appeal on Monday, November 9. According to The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni, lamented that Nigerians have the habit of reporting crimes first on the social media. He also spoke about how some distress calls were actually blown out of proportion and advised the residents to always verify their information before causing panic. A vehicle loaded with ten clothed goats was impounded by Police in Kabale on Sunday, November 8th. The goats were being transported in a Toyota corolla and draped in clothes to conceal them. Mr Elly Maate, the police spokesman said that the driver of the car told police that he was hired by suspected thieves who had gathered them from different homes. "The car driver and one suspected were arrested on Sunday morning at Kigezi High Primary School playground in Kabale municipality following intelligence that stolen goats were being off-loaded. To our dismay, the goats were dressed in dresses to camouflage them as people," Mr Maate said. Mr Maate revealed that the suspected thieves will be transfered to Ntungamo district for prosecution and while the Police are currently hunting for the accomplices of the thieves in Kabale town so that they are all brought to book.
